For this project we created a poster that showed the week of a student through systems of maps, charts and/or graph-like diagrams, illustrations and images. We researched and analyzed our own life patterns through journals, video and/or audio recordings and photographs. We tracked these patterns in spreadsheet analysis showing these time allotments. After seeing subsequent patterns from this research we designed the poster using a metaphor that best depicted these patterns.

The designated tourist attraction for this project is Arts Beats and Eats. The audience is families with children 8 - 12. I researched the annual event as well as the target demographic and chose visual and verbal elements that spoke to that audience. I wanted to convey a fun attitude with bright colors. Balloons always signify a happy, fun time. I also wanted to bring out the amusement rides as a big attraction for kids.
